GPS systems are about to get a whole lot smarter.
A new generation of navigation systems will include more than directions, reports MSNBC. Drivers will have access to “situational” information, including traffic patterns, weather forecasts and driving restrictions.
Thilo Koslowski, automative analyst for technology consultant, Gartner, Inc., told MSNBC that current GPS systems leave a lot to be desired. More Than Just Directions

Imagine never being lost or needing to ask for directions as you drive.
